April 2nd Town Board Meeting – CANCELLED

Within the meeting guidelines of Resolution 78-20, Regarding Public Meetings During COVID-19 Pandemic, the Town Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd is CANCELLED.

Update from Town Supervisor Susie Jacobs

Due to the New York State of Emergency and directives from the Governor and CDC guidelines, we have implemented the following changes:

The Town Hall is open by appointment only until further notice. The health and well-being of our community and staff is critical. This plan will allow us to meet the immediate needs of our residents while practicing social distancing. The current challenges to keeping everyone safe by avoiding person to person meetings necessitate this change and we understand that this is a different way for you to conduct business. Please call or email the department you need to conduct your business and be aware that we are working with a reduced staff. Most appointments are from 9:00 am to Noon.  Check the Town website for contact information.  We also have a secure drop-box in the upper level lobby for your use from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

All Parks and Recreation programs are canceled until further notice.

We are also working on a live stream for public meetings to practice good social distancing. Please stay tuned for updates.

Walworth is a community of caring neighbors, take a moment and please phone to check on your neighbors and we will get through this together.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions at 315.986.1400 x1 or my personal cell phone at 585-230-2649.
