Welcome to the Town of Walworth NY.  Located minutes from Penfield, Fairport and the City of Rochester, Walworth is home to over 9,400 residents and dozens of local businesses.

Certain members of the Town Staff will be returning to their offices on Monday May 18, 2020 as part of the COVID-19 Phase One reopening process.  The building will NOT be open to the public until we have finalized safety precautions throughout the building.  Staff will be available to meet one on one by APPOINTMENT ONLY until further notice.  To make an appointment please call 315-986-1400 and follow the prompts to speak to the staff member you wish to meet with.  For additional information regarding Phase One reopening in Walworth please see below.

Guidelines & Implementations at the Walworth Town Hall as the Finger Lakes Region Reopens

The Town of Walworth remains focused on providing a safe, expedient, and functional environment for visitors to return to the Walworth Town Hall as the building and Finger Lakes Region progress through New York Forward metrics for reopening.  Will will continue to update the public with information regarding business hours, in-person visitation protocols, and other important safety and organizational procedures as they continue to develop and adhere to the changing needs and requirements of our residents, staff, regional metrics, and public health.  This is uncharted territory for us all.  We appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding as we work tirelessly together to better our Walworth community while simultaneously keeping everyone’s health and safety at the forefront of our concerns.

Grievance Day 2020 – Thursday, May 28th

For Grievance Day 2020 we kindly ask all residents planning to attend submit their paperwork prior to Monday, May 25th to allow sufficient time for mail quarantining prior to our scheduled Grievance Day on Thursday, May 28th.

In the interest of social distancing and community health and safety the Walworth Assessment Office has been temporarily relocated into the Tax Collection Office for the foreseeable future.  Residents can find the Assessment Office just outside the Main Meeting Room (look for the window outside the Main Meeting Room doors).

We kindly ask the public to please use the lower level parking lot and entrance doors when arriving to Walworth Town Court proceedings or to conduct business at the Walworth Court Clerk Office.

Walworth Wastewater Treatment Plant
ATTENTION RESIDENTS:  Please don’t flush gloves, masks, or wipes!  They are causing problems with our sewer system.  They will also damage your home pipes and you might have to pay big repair bills.

With the Town Hall currently closed please note the in-person sewer collection drop box WILL NOT be available.   Instead, residents can pay through mailing in their bill with payment or using the online bill paying service through their respective bank.   **Click here to Make Credit Card Payment.  A small service fee will apply through the processing company.   All late fees for this current quarter are being waived.
